Indian Hills Golf Course is a Public , 18 hole golf course located in Decatur, Alabama
Indian Hills Golf Course first opened for play in 1945 as a 9-hole course. The course was originally named The Hartselle Country Club. Indian Hills was expanded to an 18-hole par-71 layout in 1996.
Indian Hills Golf Course added nine new holes in August, 1996. The course is built on rolling hills, so you can expect many uneven lies. The fairways feature generous landing areas, and the greens are undulating and sloped. Water hazards (lakes) come into play on several holes.
Indian Hills Golf Course closed in 2008.

Indian Hills Golf Course closed fall of 2008, after the death of the owner C. Teague. Property has been sold to an investor who plans to build a gated subdivision on the property. The down turn in the housing market has delayed progress on the subdivision.
